It’s a busy year for the gorgeous Kriti Sanon! The actress has five projects for this year and out of them two films (Luka Chuppi and Kalank) have been released already. The other three upcoming flicks include Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat. The 28-year-old has bagged another big project and it is with Raees director Rahul Dholakia. Yes, it has been confirmed that Kriti Sanon would be playing the lead in Rahul Dholakia’s upcoming film which is yet-to-be-titled. Arjun Patiala First Posters Out! Talking about this untitled project Kriti Sanon told Mumbai Mirror, “I had been waiting for the right female driven film to come my way and this one ticked all the boxes.” With regards to her role in the film she was quoted saying, “I play a media professional for which the research has already started. I can’t wait to start shooting for this film. It’s an entertainer with a powerful core idea and will connect with audiences without being preachy.” Zeenat Aman to Play Sakina Begum in Arjun Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Panipat.

Rahul Dholakia’s last film Raees released in 2017, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan as the lead pair. It is after two years he’s going to get back in the director’s chair and we just cannot wait to know more details of the film. Besides directing the film, Rahul Dholakia would also be co-producing it with Azure Entertainment. The upcoming film is written by author Bilal Siddiqi who is widely known for the novel The Bard of Blood. This film is expected to go on floors by August and would be hitting the big screens by next year.
