The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari minted strong numbers on the opening day; it collected Rs 7.32 crore. On September 13 Chhichhore minted Rs 5.34 crore, but the next day it saw better collections. On September 14 the film managed to earn Rs 9.42 crore. Well, that’s a good figure when films like Dream Girl is having a great run at multiplexes. Although the film received overwhelming response from the critics for such a gripping tale on college students who turn BFFs and their journey after it, the movie could not shine at the box office.
