Deepika Padukone has already started prepping for her next project, Chhapaak. The film was announced a few months back and ever since then, the actress' fans are excited to see their favourite star back on the silver screen. It has been over a year since Padmaavat released and after that, she went on a sabbatical since marriage was on cards. However, Deepika is now back to work and from what we know, she is doing all it takes to research on her character before they start shooting. In the movie, Dippy will be playing the role of a real- life acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. To know more about her, Deepika is not just researching the internet but also looking up every other available material that will help her understand Laxmi better. A source was quoted by a daily saying, "Deepika first searched websites to learn how the [acid attack] survivors are affected. She is also looking up all available material (photographs/videos) on the internet about Laxmi to thoroughly research her life. In fact, Laxmi herself has been very supportive, even sharing material on her journey that is not available anywhere else or is not yet out in the public domain. Deepika was also provided DVDs and pen drives, containing material of about 10 survivors, by the makers of the project. The actor is making sure that every detail is in place." That's too much effort but to play the part, actors certainly have to know the character in an out and understand it extremely well. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and was actually suppose to go on floors this month. However, according to recent reports, the film's shooting schedule might be slightly delayed. Nonetheless, Dippy has already started working on the film. Let's see what Chhapaak has in store for us!
