Looks like Saroj Khan's controversial comment on Casting Couch has opened up the Pandora's box of sorts. Saroj Khan's comments have not gone down well with some when she approached a news channel to state this. "This is going on from 'baba Adam's times', it is not new. Someone or the other always tries to take an advantage of a girl. The government officials do it too, then why are we only behind the film industry? It provides livelihood at least," she said in her interaction with a TV channel.
And now Radhika Apte and National Award winning actor Usha Jadhav had this to confess reports The Week. These two actors have voiced their anger in a BBC documentary. It is titled Bollywood's Dark Secrets and the starts have stated reality as is. "Some people are regarded as Gods. They are so powerful that people just don't think that my voice is going to matter, or people think that if I speak, probably my career is going to get ruined," said Radhika Apte, according to a report in the popular daily Mid-Day to shock one and all.
It was Usha Jadhav too who came out to take on the powerful men in the industry. She revealed an instance where she was told that she must offered in return of a possible opportunity in the movie. "I said something on the lines of, 'What? I don't have money'. He said, 'No, no, no, no. It's not about money, it's about you sleeping with, maybe it can be a producer, maybe it can be a director, it can be both too,” Jadhav said, reports The Week to shed light on how this monster called Casting Couch is troubling one and all.
