The 71st Cannes Film Festival is here and as usual there is a right amount of excitement around it. Bollywood's fashion icons Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor will make their dazzling appearances this year too and fans cannot wait for the pictures already. Just after Kangana Ranaut's graceful debut in Cannes, it's Deepika's time to turn all the heads around. The dimpled beauty shared a snap of her arrival in Cannes and she already looked red-carpet ready. The glow and smile on her face only proves that she extremely excited for the big day.

For her airport appearance, she wore Maison Margiela, Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford and Celine. The team designed an oversized shirt-jacket with a buckled leather belt and paired it with black leather pants and boots for the star.  Deepika did not bother to wear any accessories for you know how they say that a smile is the best accessory that you can wear!

The Padmaavat actress will be walking the carpet for a popular cosmetic brand that is also endorsed by Sonam and Ash along with her. She will also talk on the subject of women empowerment which a crucial topic to ponder upon. The diva will make her grand appearances on May 10 and May 11.

Apart from her, Huma Qureshi too received appreciation for her first appearance at Cannes fest. Deepika's Padmaavat co-star Jim Sarbh too will make his presence at the film festival.

Deepika Padukone's last red carpet appearances divided the internet into two halves. While some of them fell in love with her all over again, others expected something more from her. This year, we hope that she impresses her fans and fashion police with her usual charm.
