Bypass Road Song So Gaya Yeh Jahan: Neil Nitin Mukesh Fails to Make Us Groove on This Remix Version of Teezab’s Iconic Track (Watch Video)

Recreating an original track is not an easy task! While Bollywood has time and again attempted to touch a classic, but rarely it has led to a win-win situation. Joining the bandwagon of remix songs, the latest is So Gaya Yeh Jahan from Bypass Road. FYI, this new one is a recreated version of a cult classic with the same name from the movie, Tezaab (1988). While the old song featured Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor and Chunky Panday, the 2019 version sees Neil Nitin Mukesh grooving with Adah Sharma. Another interesting fact about the OG song is that it was sung by Neil's father Nitin Mukesh. Neil Nitin Mukesh’s Bypass Road to Release on 1st November, 2019.

Coming to the reprised song, the clip starts with Neil getting impressed by Adah, who is with her friends gang in a club. The two connect instantly after an eye-contact and then take center stage as the duo dance to the tunes. Sharing the news on his Instagram account, Neil dropped the song and captioned it, “It’s time to get your mysterious side out and groove to the thrill track of the year!” The sad fact about the new song is that the makers have literally ruined the essence of the old song and have retained only the hookline of the OG. The latest version is no doubt all glamourous but lacks soul! This one is sung by Jubin Nautiyal with Nitin Mukesh providing added vocals.

Meanwhile, Bypass Road is reportedly shot in Alibaug and Lonavla, using some of the best locations from the spots. The film will hit the theatres on November 1. The last time fans saw Neil was in Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho as an antagonist.
