No one really had any faintest of an idea about the intensity of the tension brewing between India and Pakistan. It all started after Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) deadly attack in the Pulwama region of Jammu and Kashmir. To retaliate and answer the terrorists in their own language, Indian Air Force launched strikes on JeM's biggest training camp at Balakot in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. However, on Wednesday, Pakistan attempted to violate Indian airspace. India successfully foiled Pakistan Air Force's bid but a MiG-21 in the engagement, said the Minsitry of External Affairs. The ministry said an Indian pilot "is missing in action". According to Pakistan, the missing IAF pilot was in their custody, it added. A video allegedly of the same pilot in Pakistan's captivity went viral on the internet and since then, the nation is busy praying for his safe return.
