Brahmastra: Here's Where Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Characters Meet for the First Time in the Film

Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films and is currently being shot in Varanasi. The film will bring together the pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on-screen for the first time.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra is one of the most-anticipated films. The cast of the film including supporting actors, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy are currently shooting in Varanasi. Right from the beginning, Varanasi has seemed to be an important location for the film considering the film's logo was also launched at the Kumbh Mela this year. The movie is based on the mythological weapon known as the i, so we believe that Ranbir and Alia's characters go to the holy city in search of it. Well, diretor Ayan Mukerji has now confirmed that this is the place where their characters will meet for the first time.

Interestingly, the film's director Ayan Mukerji recently opened up about the importance of the film's location and revealed more on what importance Varanasi holds for the script. In a recent media interaction, he said, "In the film, Varanasi is that place where all the characters meet for the first time and the actual adventure begins from there. So far we know that Ranbir's character in the film is named Shiva whereas Alia Bhatt will be seen essaying the role of Isha. While the film is an intended trilogy, the success of the first part will determine if the film will be made into a franchise. 'Brahmastra' Release Date Postponed, Won't Lock Horns with Dabangg.

Initially, Brahmastra was slated to release in Christmas this year but due to its VFX work, the release of the film has now been shifted to Summer 2020. We are eagerly waiting to see the film as it will be the first time, off-screen love birds, Alia and Ranbir are teaming up for a film.
