However, if the trade experts are to believed then Sona's hatke movie won't be able to pack a solid punch at the ticket windows and that's disappointing to hear. While its good to see that the B-town beauty has finally done a socially relevant film, sadly Khandaani Shafakhana has hardly created any buzz or excitement amongst the masses. And that's one big reason why the film won't witness a big opening at the domestic box office.

Sonakshi starrer is expected to earn between Rs 1 to 2 crore on the opening day. But if the film manages to garner good reviews from the critics and also impresses the audience during the morning shows then the collections could go up to Rs 3 crore. The spin-off of Fast & Furious starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba in the lead is predicted to perform well on the first day than Sonakshi's comedy-drama. In fact, the movie could take a double-digit opening if all goes well. If that happens then Khandaani Shafakhana will definitely struggle to find a good holding at the BO.
