By now, you are likely aware that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again clashed at the box office, both releasing on the same day, November 1. Both films have performed reasonably well in theatres and, by their second weekend, have crossed the significant milestone of entering the INR 200 crore club in India. Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, achieved this milestone on its ninth day, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, reached it on its tenth day. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Box Office Collection Day 11: Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee’s Horror-Comedy Becomes First Film in the Franchise To Surpass INR 200 Crore; Earns INR 216.76 Crore in Total.

Whether these films can truly be considered box office hits despite reaching this milestone is a topic for another discussion (hint: only one can genuinely be termed a hit). Nevertheless, both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are now part of the esteemed club, which includes 36 Hindi films to date (excluding Hindi-dubbed versions of Baahubali: The Conclusion, RRR, KGF Chapter 2, and Kalki 2898 AD).

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 marks Kartik Aaryan's first film to enter the INR 200 crore club, making it his highest-grossing movie to date, surpassing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's INR 185 crore. For Triptii Dimri, BB3 is her second film to achieve this milestone, following Animal (INR 556.36 crore), which remains her highest-grossing film. Vidya Balan also had a movie in the club previously in Mission Mangal.

As for the stars of Singham Again, Ajay Devgn has had three films in the INR 200 crore club (excluding RRR), Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh each had two, Tiger Shroff had one, Kareena Kapoor Khan had three, and Deepika Padukone led with five previous entries. This latest achievement adds another feather to their caps. ‘Singham Again’ Box Office Verdict – Hit or Flop: Had Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cop Universe’ Made Itself Profitable? Here’s the Truth!

Now that Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have reached this milestone, the question remains: will either film go on to break further records in the coming days? For now, Stree 2 holds the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024 in India, with net earnings of INR 627.02 crore. Although that record seems secure for the moment, the INR 300 crore club is within reach for both Diwali 2024 releases.
