Legendary Jeetendra is an Indian actor, TV and film producer and his career spanned from 60’s to 90’s. Famous for his vigorous dancing in the films he won the tag of ‘Jumping Jack of Bollywood'. The evergreen romantic hero will celebrate his 76th birthday on April 7, 2018. The actor rose to success after his film Farz (1967). He has done nearly 200 films as the main lead, a feat matched by just a handful of his peers since the inception of Hindi cinema. 1 Mast Baharon Ka Main Aashiq – Farz (1967)
Farz is a Hindi spy thriller film starring Jeetendra and Babita in lead roles. The movie was hugely inspired by James Bond Movies. Jeetendra rose to fame after his famous dance moves and look in the song Mast Baharon Ka Main Aashiq.
2 Dhal Gaya Din – Humjoli (1970)

3 Chadti Jawaani Meri Chaal Mastani – Caravan (1971)
Inspired by the English movie Girl on the Run (1953), Caravan starred Jeetendra and Asha Parekh in the lead roles. Caravan was one of the few movies that garnered commercial success overseas in China. The film grossed Rs. 3.6 crores in India.
4 Nainon Mein Sapna – Himmatwala (1983)
Himmatwala is one of the biggest blockbusters of the 1980s. The film also proved to be a breakthrough for Sridevi in Bollywood and launched her to stardom. The film grossed Rs. 50 million and became the highest grossing Indian movie of 1983.
Jeetendra has two children – Ekta Kapoor who runs Balaji Telefilms and Tusshar Kapoor who is also an actor. Jeetendra has won Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award (2003), Screen Lifetime Achievement Award (2005) and Zee Cine Award for Lifetime Achievement (2012). Besides his frequent pairings with Sridevi and Jaya Prada during the 80s, Jeetendra’s popular co-stars were Neetu Singh, Hema Malini, Moushumi Chatterjee and Rekha.
