Blank, which is Karan Kapadia's debut film, is still struggling to survive at the Indian box office. The film released on Friday, May 3, and got off to a slow start after opening to not-so-great reviews from the critics. Co-starring Sunny Deol, the action thriller had grabbed everyone's attention courtesy its intriguing trailer. However, the film hasn't lived up to the expectations and has failed to impress the audience. Directed by Behzad Khambata, Blank performed poorly at the ticket windows on day 1 and though it did better on day 2, the overall collections are still very low. Blank Box Office Collection Day 1: Karan Kapadia and Sunny Deol Starrer Fails to Get Cash Registers Ringing

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the popular microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#Blank witnesses minimal growth on Day 2... The 2-day total remains extremely low... Fri 97 lakhs, Sat 1.17 cr. Total: ₹ 2.14 cr [1255 screens / 4015 shows per day]. India biz."

Jointly produced by Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti, & Pictures, Tony D'Souza and Vishal Rana, Blank also features  Karanvir Sharma and Ishita Dutta in significant roles. Apart from Karan's debut vehicle, Ashwini Chaudhary's directorial venture Setters also arrived in cinema halls on May 3. Starring Aftab Shivdasani and Shreyas Talpade, the film failed to pack a solid punch at the box office and fared worse than Blank on day 1. Blank Movie Review: Karan Kapadia and Sunny Deol Pummel Their Way Through This Dull Thriller

While both Blank and Setters have turned out to be a big disappointment at the box office, the one film that is actually drawing the crowd to the cinema halls currently is Hollywood biggie Avengers: Endgame. The superhero flick has broken the record of Dhoom 3 and is now set to enter the Rs 300 crore club in India.
