Blackmail Trailer Video: Irrfan Khan-Kirti Kulhari’s Infidelity Game Turns Hilariously Fatal

If it’s an Irrfan Khan film, one should mandatorily expect something really, really quirky. All the fans know that this guy does not take up a film unless and until he has something new to offer. So, as expected, Abhinay Deo directed Blackmail, has all the ingredients that a true Irrfan Khan fan always desires to have. The dark comedy with talented faces has a lot of crazy twists and turns and one can safely assume that it will be a sit- on- the- edge-of-the- seats drama till the end. The makers dropped the trailer of the film which is full of power-packed yet subtle dialogues, one would surely not like to miss.

The trailer starts with Irrfan Khan telling us the story of his wife’s (Kirti Kulhari) infidelity. As he finds out that his partner is cheating on him with her lover (Arunoday Singh), he decides to blackmail him for Rs 1Lakh. However, his fun revenge game boomerangs and he gets blackmailed by someone from his office for blackmailing his wife and her boyfriend.

Talking about the film, director was quoted by indianexpress.com saying, “Delhi Belly was an amazing script, and after the massive success of the film, I was looking for a script that would be at par if not better, and then finally 47 scripts and 6 years later I found the one. The moment I read the script, I knew that Blackmail was the film I wanted to make next," said Blackmail director Abhinay Deo.”

Being a dark comedy, the trailer has light violence, humor and fast-paced scenes clubbed together, which makes it more interesting. Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan’s narration of his own life is hysterical. Blackmail is scheduled to release on April 6, 2018. Are you going to rush to the theatres to watch it?
