Blackbuck Poaching Case 1998: Rajasthan Government to Appeal Against Salman Khan's Co-Stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre

While Salman Khan has been declared not guilty in the Blackbuck Poaching case of 1998, trouble seems to be ahead for Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari. According to ANI, the Rajasthan government has decided to appeal to a higher court against the Hum Sath Sath Hain actors. "Black buck poaching case: Rajasthan govt to appeal before the Rajasthan High Court against the acquittal of actors Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and Tabu, Saif Ali Khan and others," reads the tweet by the news agency. Salman Khan Blackbuck Poaching Case: Bhai Gets Bail On Two Sureties Of Rs. 25,000/- Each And A Personal Bond Of Rs. 50,000/-

Salman was facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and the other actors had been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code. Public Prosecutor Bhawani Singh Bhati had said that all (Salman, Saif, Sonali, Tabu and Neelam) were in a Gypsy car that night, with Salman Khan in the driving seat. “He, on spotting a herd of blackbucks, shot at and killed two of them,” Bhati added. “But on being spotted and chased, they fled from the spot leaving the dead animals there,” he said, adding that there was adequate evidence against them.
