The sudden demise of talented diva Sridevi has left the country shattered. No one in their worst of nightmares would have thought of waking up to such a terrific news. Bollywood director Hansal Mehta too is one of them who is affected by this great loss. Which is why, the maker has decided to do a biopic on the legendary actress. The Omerta director wishes to bring back the memories of the actress on the silver screen through a biopic and also has approached Vidya Balan for the same.
Talking to a leading magazine, the director said, "There will never be another Sridevi. I was about to approach her for a film. That film will now be dedicated to her. If it finds an actor.” He further added, "I will always regret that I didn’t approach her and could not make a movie with her. But I will make a film on her. It will be made. There are actors (who I have in my mind). I might approach Vidya Balan. I will make the film."
It will be beautiful to watch Vidya Balan to reminisce the moments of Sridevi. Balan is known for her out-of-the-way performances and offering her this role was one of the best decisions the maker could have ever made. Now it is up-to the Tumhari Sulu actress whether she will say yes to the project or not! How we hope she does!
Meanwhile, Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen opposite Ishaan Khattar in Shashank Khaitan directed 'Dhadak'. Coming back to Sridevi's biopic, do you think Vidya is an apt choice? Do let us know in the comments section below.
