Bhumi Pednekar REPLACES Priyanka Chopra in Shah Rukh Khan's Salute?

Rumour has it that Bhumi Pednekar might bag the role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Salute! That is BIG news, isn't it? Bhumi is one phenomenal actresses and she has done some extraordinary work all this while since her debut in Bollywood. Now, it is being said that the actress might be roped in opposite SRK in the Rakesh Sharma biopic. The makers have been trying to finalise the leading lady since a very long time. First it was Kareena Kapoor Khan whose name was doing the rounds and then there were reports stating that Priyanka Chopra was approached to be a part of the project, which initially starred Aamir Khan. Salute: Shah Rukh Khan's Movie on Indian Astronaut Rakesh Sharma DELAYED?

As for Bhumi, if all goes well, the Lust Stories actress will give her nod to Salute, says a report in mid-day. Especially because she will be cast opposite one of the leading Khans of Bollywood for the first time, So we don't really see a reason for her to not give it a thumbs up!

Since Khan was bust shooting for Aanand L Rai's Zero all this while, dates for Salute haven't been locked so far. After the dates are finalised and the cast has been signed on, the film’s makers will make an official announcement. Though the movie was initially planned to go on floors this September, it is now being deferred by a month and will begin only in October.

Coming back to Bhumi, considering how brilliant of an actor she is, we definitely think Salute would be a total game-changer for her and put her in a different league of actresses altogether!
