After much back and forth and even rumours of Ayushmann Khurana stepping into his shoes, it's official that Kartik Aaryan is the male lead of the sequel of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balanā€™s horror-comedy series Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. This morning, the poster of the show was launched and in its first glance, youā€™ll notice the striking similarity between Akshay Kumar and Kartik Aaryan in the movieā€™s trademark sadhu look. In three looks of Kartik that were revealed, Kartik is seen sitting on a couch just like Akshay, while in the other two, he is seen standing and then posing like no oneā€™s watching while lying on some skulls.

The movie will also see Akshay Kumar make a surprise cameo appearance. However, if Akshay will be reprising his role of the psychologist Aditya Srivastav or not, is something the audience will have to look forward to. Meanwhile, the increasing buzz surrounding Kartikā€™s leading lady says that in all probability, it will be the actorā€™s rumoured ladylove Sara Ali Khan, who will be seen in the flick. It can also be noted that the sequelā€™s poster has been unveiled exactly 13 years after the first movie, uncanny coincidenceā€¦ eh??
