That Salman Khan's Bharat is one of the biggest releases of this year is known to all. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film has been grabbing headlines ever since it was announced. Initially, the period drama was to star Priyanka Chopra as the female lead but things didn't work out and Khan's good friend Katrina Kaif was eventually offered the film. Apart from these two superstars, Zafar's directorial venture also features Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Sonali Kulkarni in significant roles. The trailer of the film was released in April and it garnered a positive response from the audience. Bharat Movie: Review, Cast, Box Office Collection, Budget, Story, Trailer, Music of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif Film

Also, everyone is super excited about Bharat because it's Salman and Katrina's sixth outing together and interestingly their box office record has been fantastic so far as the duo has delivered four blockbusters together. Super impressive, right? Since the movie is arriving in theatres on Eid, expectations are sky high from Bharat as we all know the festive occasion has always been lucky for the Being Human superstar. And if that's not enough, the period drama is also Khan's third collaboration with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. The director-actor duo earlier worked together in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, both of which got cash registers ringing big time.

Considering all these factors, it's pretty evident that Bharat is sure to perform well at the ticket windows. But will it beat Tiger Zinda Hai and become Salman's biggest blockbuster ever? Well, that seems unlikely because 2019 Cricket World Cup is currently underway and India's first match is tomorrow against South Africa which will definitely affect the opening day business of Bharat. As per trade pundits, Khan's latest offering will rake in around Rs 35 crore on day 1. This means Bharat is very much likely to break the opening day record of Tiger Zinda Hai which minted Rs 33.75 crore on day 1. However, it may not break its lifetime business record because of the ongoing cricket world cup. Bharat: From 1998 to 2019, How Salman Khan Continues to Be the Poster Boy for Gym Freaks for Three Goddamn Decades!

Bharat, which is the Hindi remake of South Korean blockbuster Ode to My Father, is releasing across more than 4000 screens in India which is again a huge deal. With hardly any competition at the ticket windows, Salman starrer should easily set the box office on fire. Unless the story turns out to be an absolute drab, nothing will stop Bharat from minting money.
