Bharat Box Office Collection Day 7: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Film Is Going Steady at the Ticket Windows, Earns Rs 167.60 Crore
After beating Kesari and Total Dhamaal, Bharat is now heading towards the Rs 200 crore club at the Indian box office.
Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat has completed a week in theatres and so far the film's business has been superb at the Indian box office. Starring Salman Khan, Sunil Grover and Katrina Kaif in the lead, the period drama hit the screens on June 5 and since then has been breaking one record after another at the domestic box office. Currently, Bharat is the second highest Bollywood grossing film of the year after Vicky Kaushal's blockbuster Uri - The Surgical Strike. However, it's only a matter of time before Khan's movie surpasses Vicky's military drama in the box office race. Bharat Box Office Collection Day 6: Salman Khan Starrer Surpasses the Lifetime Collection of Kesari and Total Dhamaal, Mints Rs 159.30 Crore
As for the box office collection, Salman and Kat's sixth outing is already inching towards the Rs 200 crore club in India. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures. He wrote, "#Bharat is steady on Day 7... Should cross ₹ 175 cr today [Day 8]... Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr, Sat 26.70 cr, Sun 27.90 cr, Mon 9.20 cr, Tue 8.30 cr. Total: ₹ 167.60 cr. India biz."
Going by the current trend, Bharat should ideally reach the Rs 200 crore mark over the second weekend. However, the film will suffer at the ticket windows as India has two world cup matches lined-up this week. Tomorrow, team India will take on New Zealand but the big match that will put a dent on Bharat's collection will be India versus Pakistan which will take place on Sunday, June 16. Bharat Box Office Collection Day 5: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif Starrer Has a Thunderous Opening Weekend, Rakes in Rs 150.10 Crore
Anyway, for now, Salman's Eid release is performing well at the BO. So let's hope it continues to do so in the coming week as well to ensure good lifetime collection in India.
