Beyond the Clouds Trailer: Ishaan Khattar Looks Promising in This Majid Majidi Film

The trailer of Majid Majidi’s film Beyond The Clouds has released and it is already riding high expectations from Ishan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor’s brother. Ishaan will be debuting in this international film along with Malvika Mohanan. This film is a tale of a brother-sister pair who are struggling with poverty and to counter it, the brother enters in a dirty business of drug peddling. The official Twitter handle of the film shared the trailer link.
The trailer opens with Amir (Ishaan) talking about becoming a big man, after losing his family in a car accident. The trailer paces with him undertaking drug peddling to make money. But a tragic incident puts his sister Tara (Malvika) in jail. It is Ishaan’s fight now to get his sister out of prison because of his own doing.

The trailer is gritty and we can totally see how hard Ishaan would be trained for his debut film. He looks extremely convincing in his character. He has totally made the most of the opportunity to work with Iranian filmmaker. Malvika is subtle but she too puts the emotions well this intense drama. The film looks closely into human relationships, the one between siblings and the trailer beautifully catches the right frames of Mumbai’s underbelly. The background score by AR Rahman works perfectly to direct the pace in the trailer.
It is Majid Majidi’s first Indian feature film and his setting looks flawless. The film has given Ishaan the award for the best actor at International Bosphorus Film Festival that was held in Turkey. By looking at the 2 mins 15 seconds trailer, we can be sure it was totally deserving. Majidi’s films like Children of Heaven and The Song of Sparrows have been praised very well and we are sure Beyond The Clouds will have the same fate. The film will be released worldwide on March 23 in three languages- English, Hindi and Tamil. With the trailer so intense, the wait for the film seems difficult! Meanwhile, Ishaan is currently working on his Bollywood debut film Dhadak opposite Janhvi Kapoor.
