Kabir Singh is an official remake of Telugu film, Arjun Reddy which starred Vijay Deverakonda in a lead role. From the trailer of the Hindi remake, it did seem that Shahid Kapoor has channelled in the original character's rage and intensity bang on. Shahid was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which underperformed at the box office but it seems with Kabir Singh, the actor may bounce back hard.
