Before Takht, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar to Star in Karan Johar’s Horror Film
Bhumi's role in the movie is only limited to a mere cameo.
Karan Johar will return to the director's chair with his upcoming historical drama, Takht, which will release in 2020. Just the cast of the movie is enough to make you go buy the tickets right now if that was possible somehow. But before we see Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in Takht, sharing the screen with Ranveer, Alia, Janhvi and Kareena, we will see them in another KJo movie. This one will be Dharma Productions' return to the horror genre after Kaal. Vicky has already started shooting for this horror film and is quite excited to make his debut in the genre.
While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Vicky said, "I am currently shooting for my first horror film. Bhanu Pratap Singh, who has been assisting Shashank Khaitan is making his directorial debut with this. It is an interesting story and I am looking forward to this one, but I am not allowed to speak much about it. I am waiting for the makers to announce the project soon.” Bhumi Pednekar Wraps Up Shooting For 'Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare'.
But there is a catch. While Vicky will be seen in the lead role, Bhumi's role in the movie is only limited to a mere cameo. As per a report by Box Office India, the actress will only shoot for less than 15 days for this untitled horror movie.
Vicky has already finished two schedules for the film - one in Mumbai and another one in Bhangarh, the Indian village famous for its spooky legends. He will soon begin the third schedule of the movie.
Karan Johar's last horror movie, Kaal, had three item songs for its promotion. We hope that won't be the case this time.
