John Abraham is right now all in the ‘based on reality’ films mode and he is rightly getting appreciated for it by his loyal fans. Fresh from the success of his last flick Satyamev Jayate, he is now gearing up for his next thriller named ‘Batla House’. The hunk shared another poster of his look as the decorated, controversial cop and it is indeed different than his previous movies.
Sharing the new poster, he tweeted, ‘“95 mins that took 8yrs to be resolved and changed his life forever.” The story of India’s most Decorated/Controversial Cop. #BatlaHouse.’

His look in the khaki vardi, spectacles and thin moustache is getting a wide response by his fans on the social media. Fans are loving how he is making the most of this genre as he also did films like Madras Café, Parmanu, Force, Force 2 and Satyameva Jayate. They even commented that they are eagerly waiting for this movie and declared it a blockbuster already!
For the uninitiated, the film is based on the infamous 2008 Operation Batla House encounter. It took place against the Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in the Batla House area in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. John is said to be playing the role of a police officer who is named as DCP Sanjay Kumar Yadav. Interestingly, the flick will be released right after one year of Satyameva Jayate, i.e August 15, 2019. It will clash with other big movies like Brahmastra and Made in China. The crime drama is directed by Nikkhil Advani and is written by Ritesh Shah. What are your thoughts?
