After a much successful Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham is playing with the law again in his next, Batla House. Only this time, he is on the legal side of the matters, even though his actions may be far from that. John Abraham is playing a cop in Batla House, an encounter drama based on real-life events. The movie is directed by Nikkhil Advani who has earlier directed John Abraham in Salaam-e-IshqBatla House to Release on Independence Day 2019, John Abraham Confirms.

The makers of the film have released new posters of the film. The first poster had a silhouette of a cop with captions like India's most decorated cop, 'fake encounter', 'Indian Mujahideen'. Then they released another poster that has a spectacled John Abraham in the silhouette, thereby pointing out that he is the man the allegations are pointing towards. Batla House: John Abraham to Begin Shooting for the Encounter Drama From This Date.
