Batla House stars John Abraham as DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Mrunal Thakur as Nandita Yadav (Sanjeev's wife), Ravi Kishan as KK, Manish Chaudhari as Police Commissioner Jaivir, Rajesh Sharma as a TV journalist. The other supporting cast includes Sonam Arora, Sahidur Rahman, Kranti Prakash Jha, Alok Pandey, Faizan Khan, Niranjan Jadhao, Chirag Katrecha and Yatharth Kansal.

Story

The premise revolves around the controversial Batla House encounter investigation and its aftermath. Officially known as Operation Batla House that took place on 19 September 2008, against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi, in which two terrorists were killed while two others were arrested. Encounter specialist and Delhi Police inspector Mohan Chand Sharma was martyred during the incident.

The makers haven't given the deets of John Abraham's film budget. However, trade experts predict that Batla House is made on a budget of Rs 45-50 crores. Which means the film needs to make more than Rs 65 crore to be called a hit.
