John Abraham's Batla House has already been declared a hit but the movie is still raking in big moolah at the ticket windows in India. The action thriller took a very good opening on August 15 and since then has been consistently pulling the crowds to the cinema halls. After remaining stable at the box office on weekdays, Nikhil Advani's directorial venture witnessed an upward trend on second Friday and raked in Rs 4.15 crore, to bring its total nine-day collection to Rs 69.99 crore which is fantastic, to say the least. Co-starring Mrunal Thakur, Batla House is now eyeing to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club in India. Batla House Box Office Collection Day 8: John Abraham's Action Thriller Is a Bonafide Hit, Ends Week 1 on a Good Note

Revealing the film's updated figures, well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter timeline, "#BatlaHouse saw an upswing on [second] Fri... Aided by #Janmashtami festivities... Should maintain a steady trend on [second] Sat and Sun... Trending better than #SatyamevaJayate... [Week 2] Fri 4.15 cr. Total: ₹ 69.99 cr. India biz."

Further, Boxofficeindia.com has noted in its report, "Batla House got the benefit of Janmashtami on its second Friday as collections improved compared to the Thursday. Obviously, the number is aided by Janmashtami so the growth on Saturday will not be like it normally is but it should easily be able to do a double-digit weekend which Satyameva Jayate could not do in its whole second week last year." Batla House Box Office Collection Day 7: John Abraham's Film Fares Decently on Wednesday, Surpasses the Rs 60 Crore Mark
