Batla House Box Office Collection Day 7: John Abraham's Film Fares Decently on Wednesday, Surpasses the Rs 60 Crore Mark

Batla House has been running in theatres just for seven days but it has already emerged a hit film. While John Abraham's last outing Romeo Akbar Walter failed to work its magic at the box office, Batla House, on the other hand, is enjoying a good run at the domestic box office.

John Abraham's latest release Batla House is holding up well at the ticket windows in India. The action thriller directed by Nikhil Advani has been steadily minting money at the box office without witnessing any major drop in its collection. After taking an impressive opening on day 1, the movie its four-day extended opening weekend on a good note. Though the figures did go down on first Monday, Batla House still managed to stay stable at the domestic box office. Since no big film is releasing this Friday, Batla House will have a smooth ride at the box office for another week. Declaring the movie a hit, trade analyst Sumit Kadel even wrote on his Twitter timeline, "#BatlaHouse is a clean HIT at the box office. Film trended well on weekdays, strong weekend-2 Collection on cards. Based on the controversial Batla House encounter case, John's film opened to mixed reviews from the critics, however, it has been consistently pulling the crowd to the cinema halls which is quite evident from its box office performance till now. In fact, the movie has already surpassed the lifetime business of Romeo Akbar Walter which hit the screen earlier this year and is now set to beat the record of Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran at the Indian box office.
