John Abraham's Batla House, which released alongside Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal, is slowly and steadily heading towards the Rs 100 crore mark in India. However, its too soon to predict whether it will enter the coveted club or not. Having said that, the action thriller is currently performing well at the Indian box office and surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark on Monday itself. After remaining stable on its first Monday, the movie did good business on Tuesday as well and added another Rs 4.78 crore to its grand total. At the moment, the film's total six-day collection stands at Rs 57.82 crore which is quite commendable. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#BatlaHouse is steady on weekdays... With no major opposition next week [till #Saaho], should continue to collect well... 15.55 cr, Fri 8.84 cr, Sat 10.90 cr, Sun 12.70 cr, Mon 5.05 cr, Tue 4.78 cr. Total: ₹ 57.82 cr. India biz."
Trade portal Boxofficeindia.com has stated in its report, "Batla house is holding up well on weekdays with a limited drop on Tuesday. The collections hardly dropped as the film collected around 4.25 crore nett. It can finish the week very close to the 60 crore nett mark. If the film continues to sustain like this into the second week it could even turn out to be a HIT though there is a long way to go yet." Since there is no release this week, Batla House will definitely continue to rake in moolah at the domestic box office without any trouble. The film will slow down only after Saaho hits the screens next Friday. Starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, the action thriller is expected to release across 6500 screens in India.
