Nikhil Advani's directorial venture Batla House is slowly making its way to the coveted Rs 100 crore club. The action-thriller starring John Abraham in the lead has been minting money since day 1 despite releasing alongside Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer film Mission Mangal. After ending week 1 on a solid note, Batla House performed well on the second Friday and took full advantage of Janmashtami celebrations on Saturday too. The numbers further went up on the second Sunday as the movie raked in Rs 7.21 crore, bringing its total 11-day collection to Rs 83.78 crore at the Indian box office. Batla House Box Office Collection Day 10: John Abraham's Movie Witnesses Good Jump on Second Saturday, Mints Rs 76.75 Crore

Announcing the updated figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and wrote, "#BatlaHouse has been appreciated and that’s reflecting in its numbers... Additionally, lack of major release + #Janmashtami festivities have helped put up a strong total in Weekend 2... [Week 2] Fri 4.15 cr, Sat 6.58 cr, Sun 7.21 cr. Total: ₹ 83.78 cr. India biz."

Further, Boxofficeindia.com has reported, "Batla House did good business in the second weekend as it collected over 16.75 crore nett. Its a good number for the film and is higher than many of the successful films of 2019 be it De De Pyaar De, Luka Chuppi or Bharat. Janmashtami has helped the second weekend and this has come as a big bonus to the film." Batla House Box Office Collection Day 9: John Abraham's New Film Is Trending Better Than Satyameva Jayate, Earns Rs 69.99 Crore

Though Batla House opened to mixed reviews from the critics, the movie has clearly managed to impress the masses and hence has remained stable at the ticket windows in India.
