Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala received immensely positive responses from the critics as well as the audiences. The film revolving around pre-mature balding among men is being hailed as an entertaining watch with a message. After taking a flying start at the box office, the film has continued to maintain a steady run in the weekdays. On its second Friday (November 15), the film collected Rs 3.76 crores, thus taking its total to Rs 76 crores at the India box office. The film has now crossed the 75 crore mark which is commendable. The film became Ayushmann Khurrana's highest opener after beating his recent release, Dream Girl's day 1 box office collections which had earned Rs 10.05 crore. Bala cruised past this number and opened to an earning of Rs 10.15 crores at the India box office. The film's box office run during the week days has remained quite similar to Dream Girl. With as many as four new releases this week including Marjaavaan and Motichoor Chaknachoor in Bollywood whereas Ford V Ferrari and Charlie's Angels in Hollywood, the film was bound to see drop. . The film is expected to see a slight soar on the second weekend again. The film is expected to wrap up its second weekend with a collection of approximately 85 crores which would be quite good given that it will be facing competition from Marjaavaan which despite its poor reviews has chances of collecting decent numbers thanks to its genre.
