First Monday is always seen as a crucial day to judge whether or not a film will lose steam in its first week or continue to zoom ahead with full force. The total now stands at Rs 52.21 crore.

Today is a partial holiday and thus, the film will get the benefit of the same. But it needs to be remembered that all of Ayushmann Khurrana's films are not really holiday releases, yet they have managed to make a mark in last few years. So the trick is, it doesn't matter if your film doesn't release on holidays. It all depends on content and execution.
