Bala is rocking at the box office with numbers getting better and better by the day. In its opening weekend, the film has earned Rs 43.95 crore which is simply fantastic. Sunday was definitely massive with more than Rs 18 crore coming in to get the film over Rs 40 crore opening weekend. Bala is now Ayushmann Khurrana's second highest opening weekend ever after Dream Girl which had earned Rs 44.57 crore in it first three days. Shah Rukh Khan Calls Tahira Kashyap ‘Bala Ki Biwi Kahi Ki’ Making Ayushmann Khurrana Sigh!
Bala is a story of a strapping young lad plagued by the issue of premature balding. It takes a comic way to present the pain, agony and anguish of a man going through the trauma of it all and makes it matter. It's amazing to see how Ayushmann is picking up themes which we never thought would be part of mainstream cinema ever. He is making those characters lead heroes in movies who have mostly been mocked at in our cinema.
#Bala is rocking... Packs a fantastic total in its opening weekend... Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities - which were decent/good - join the party on Day 3... Mon biz crucial, will give an idea of its lifetime biz... Fri 10.15 cr, Sat 15.73 cr, Sun 18.07 cr. Total: ₹ 43.95 cr. #India biz.

Now the wait is to see how first Monday fares. That will decide what happens to the film eventually.
