Badla Box Office Collection Day 31: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Film Is Rock Solid at the Ticket Windows, Grosses Rs 100.60 Crore

Big B and Taapsee's second collaboration is unstoppable at the box office.

Despite new releases, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla is still getting cash registers in India. The film has completed a month in theatres and so far it has minted good money without facing any trouble at the box office. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the crime thriller came out on March 8 alongside Hollywood superhero flick Captain Marvel. And though the film witnessed low occupancy during morning shows on the first day, Badla picked up the pace during the evening shows and ended day 1 on a good note. In fact, Badla has now grossed over Rs 100 crore at the Indian box office which is mighty impressive. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures saying, "#Badla is rock-steady, despite limited showcasing at plexes... Crosses ₹ 85 cr [Nett BOC] and ₹ 100 cr [Gross BOC] in the *domestic* market... Remarkable run indeed... [Week 5] Fri 30 lakhs, Sat 55 lakhs, Sun 72 lakhs. Total: ₹ 85.26 cr. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 100.60 cr."

He also tweeted, "#Badla⁠ ⁠biz at a glance...Week 1: ₹ 38 cr, Week 2: ₹ 29.32 cr, Week 3: ₹ 11.12 cr, Week 4: ₹ 5.25 cr, Weekend 5: ₹ 1.57 cr. Total: ₹ 85.26 cr. India biz. SUPER HIT." Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Badla which is inspired from the Spanish film The Invisible Guest also stars Amrita Singh in a pivotal role along with Malayalam actor Tony Luke, Manav Kaul and Tanveer Ghani. After Pink, which released in 2016, Badla is Senior Bachchan and Taapsee's second collaboration which has also turned out to be a crowd puller.
