Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's film Badla is still successfully running in theatres. The crime thriller, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, released almost a month back and got cash registers ringing from the very first day. Badla opened to rave reviews and then went on to impress the audience big time. No wonder, it's still drawing the crowd to the cinema halls.  Apart from Big B and Pannu, the film also stars Amrita Singh in a pivotal role along with Malayalam actor Tony Luke, Manav Kaul, and Tanveer Ghani. Badla Box Office Collection Day 24: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's New Release Beats the Lifetime Business of Deepika Padukone's Piku.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the popular microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Badla held steadily on weekdays... Should cross ₹ 85 cr in Weekend 5... Has an outside chance of crossing ₹ 90 cr... [Week 4] Fri 70 lakhs, Sat 1.20 cr, Sun 1.45 cr, Mon 55 lakhs, Tue 50 lakhs, Wed 45 lakhs, Thu 40 lakhs. Total: ₹ 83.69 cr. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 98.75 cr."

He also tweeted, "#Badla⁠ ⁠biz at a glance...Week 1: ₹ 38 cr, Week 2: ₹ 29.32 cr

Though Badla wasn't a solo release as it arrived alongside Hollywood superhero film Captain Marvel, it still managed to hold up well at the ticket windows not just in India but abroad as well. The crime thriller has performed so well at the domestic box office, that it has already surpassed the lifetime business of Pink, 102 Not Out, Piku and even Andhadhun. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Badla released on March 8. The film is made on a reported budget of Rs 10 crore and is inspired from Spanish film The Invisible Guest.
