Tiger Shroff is back as Ronnie - the rebel with a penchant for some kickass action sequences and also inspiring his lady love to do the same - for Baaghi 2. The first Baaghi movie starring Tiger (There was a '90s movie with the same name that starred Salman Khan in the lead) came out in 2016 and was a hit. It also cemented Tiger's popularity among the younger viewers, who are in awe of his physique and his martial arts prowess, not to mention his amazing dancing skills. The 2016 movie was directed by Sabbir Khan who also gave Tiger his launchpad in Heropanti, while Shraddha Kapoor was the female lead. For the sequel, Ahmed Khan steps in to the director's shoes and Disha Patani will be playing the female lead.
The trailer for Baaghi 2 has arrived, and just as expected, it plays completely to its lead actor's strengths. There are enough opportunities for Tiger to display his skills in the promo. We are also digging his short hairdo here. Disha, in her second Bollywood release, however, doesn't much of a screentime here. The movie also looks to looks suspiciously similar to South movie Sathya.

Baaghi 2 also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda and Prateik Babbar. Jacqueline Fernandez, who was paired with Tiger in A Flying Jatt, has shot for a special dance number for the film which will be a recreated version of Madhuri Dixit's iconic Ek Do Teen song from Tezaab.
Earlier, Sajid Nadiadwala, who is producing the movie, has this to say about the lead pair in Baaghi 2, "They share an amazing onscreen chemistry, which was evident in their look test. Disha is just perfect for the role. I am happy with my cast and am excited to kick-start the project."
Baaghi 2 is scheduled to release on March 30.
