Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll! While his last movie, Andha Dhun continues to soar at the box office, his latest film, Badhaai Ho too is a sure-shot hit! Starring Ayushmann, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, Badhaai Ho has collected Rs 7.29 crore on day one. That's a great start for the film. Also, the holiday factor has worked well in favour of the film.

However, another movie that released with Badhaai Ho was Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Namaste England, which has scored very poorly. The film managed to mint (tentative figure) Rs  1.50-1.75 crore, according to boxofficeindia.com. Ayushmann Khurrana Says He Knows He Has Become A Star But Doesn't Want to Believe It.

Speaking of Badhaai Ho, the concept is interesting and so is the trailer of the movie. Considering Ayushmann Khurrana has a knack for characters and stories that are totally out-of-the-box, Badhaai Ho was meant to be a great movie. As for Namaste England, right from the trailer of the film to the songs of the movie - there was nothing extraordinary about it. Arjun and Parineeti sure weaved magic when they starred in Ishaqzaade together but this time, they clearly failed to impress the audience.

So, if these numbers are anything to go by, the verdict is out and you definitely should opt for Badhaai Ho over Namaste England this weekend.
