Ayushmann Khurrana, You Might Want To Make These Movie Subjects Look Less Awkward Or Unconventional With Your Flawlessness!
Ayushmann Khurrana is our new saviour.
Ayushmann Khurrana is the new person in the town who the directors can rely on blindly. The man has charmed the audience with his instinctive choices which are not really instinctive but strategic. On Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan 6, Ayushmann revealed that he rejected a few films before actually opting for a subject like 'sperm donor' with his debut film Vicky Donor. Just call it his choice of films or the confidence that makers have in him, he has been fortunately receiving more such path-breaking films to explore his skills. Post Vicky Donor, Khurrana went on to give some films which are slightly 'awkward' or 'unconventional' to be the part of. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, Dum Laga Ke Haisha are some of those films where he did not care about his personal image but solely the character! It is this aspect of him, where he makes these situations and conversations look like a cake-walk that allows the audience to open their minds towards that issue. So here, I just thought of a few topics that Ayushmann could make it look 'conventional', hilarious and yet educative in the way he did his past films.
Sex education- This one is still a major topic in the country which is avoided in households by parents as well as the teachers. We can totally imagine the awkwardness that 'the talk' will create. But we can bet upon Ayushmann playing a parent and teaching a thing or two to a kid in an engaging manner without making it look awkward but hilarious. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun is the Highest Rated Indian Film on IMDb in 2018.
Super-emotional man- Emotions are often attached to women. Not always, but many times crying, worrying or sharing is not considered 'manly' by society. However, here we have this actor who can break this stereotype where he can convince this chunk of the society that it is OKAY to do these things by a man and still be 'man enough'!
Hero- We can actually suggest Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar take up this topic! Over the years, we have seen the emotions that the females in different glamorous fields go through. Apart from Heroine, other films like Fashion, Luck By Chance, Page 3 have shown it too. In fact, recently, Katrina Kaif too portrayed the dark side of a superstar-actress in Zero. However, how is it actually for a 'Male-superstar' or a typical 'Bollywood Hero'? Is it as magical and starry as it seems? Ayushmann can tell us that in his unique style! 5 Reasons Why You Should Not Miss This Ayushmann Khurrana-Sanya Malhotra Film.
There obviously are more genres and kind of films we would want him to explore as he did in AndhaDhun. But then, we are only rooting for him to do these films because we know he will do it in a way he always does it! Hey Ayushmann, if you are reading this, you know your fans now rely upon your instincts more than you do!
