Forgetting something like the shuddering terror attacks of November 26, 2008, in Mumbai is next to impossible. The attacks lasted for four days and the terrorists nearly killed 166 people while over 300 succumbed injury. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana also took to his Twitter to state how he lauds the bravery of several who stood up to the heinous attacks. In his tweet, he wrote, "Paying homage to all the bravehearts of #MumbaiTerrorAttacks. We salute their courage and valour. Jai Hind." Earlier on Monday, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also paid a tribute to the victims as he said, "My tributes to all those who lost their lives in the dastardly Mumbai terror attack of 2008. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families. I salute the bravery and devotion of our security personnel who laid down their lives to protect the motherland."

Aside from him, many other celebrities such as Arjun Kapoor and Tahir Raj Bhasin also took to social media to pay tribute to the brave hearts of the Mumbai Terror Attacks. The incident took place in 2008 when a group of 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists breached the security of Mumbai via sea route from Pakistan to carry out a coordinated series of shooting and bomb attacks. Places attacked were the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station, Cama Hospital, Taj Mahal Hotel, Nariman House, Oberoi-Trident Hotel, Leopold Cafe and many more.
