Avengers: Infinity War's Thanos Gets His Voice For The Telugu Version in Baahabuli's Bhallaladeva aka Rana Daggubati

Earlier Varun Dhawan had voiced Captain America in Captain America: Civil War.

Avengers: Infinity War is schedule to have a grand release in India on April 27, and it will be release in multiple languages, apart from English, including Hindi and Telugu. While the Hindi trailer came out and was atrocious as best when it comes to the dialogues, there is some form of respite for the Telugu version at least in getting the right voice for the mega villain, Thanos. For it is reported that Rana Daggubati, whom we better known as the evil king Bhallaladeva from Baahubali series. Now you agree?

Rana Daggubati, whose deep baritone is perfect for Thanos' menacing voice, is a self-confessed fan of the Marvel Comics and movies. In a statement to the media, Rana had confirmed the news as he said, "I’ve grown up reading Marvel Comics and Marvel movies with their intricately woven storylines. It is fascinating to see how Marvel has created characters and stories that resonate so well with audiences across the globe, making movies at a scale that one had never before imagined.”

Rana has already finished dubbing for the movie, speaking of which he revealed, "Characters such as Iron Man and Captain America have been my favourites. So dubbing for 'Avengers: Infinity War' was thrilling. Voicing for Thanos, a villain so powerful that some of the biggest superheroes have a tough time dealing with, was an exciting experience."

Even Bikram Duggal, Executive Director and Head, Studio Entertainment, Disney India, is quite excited about having Rana as a part of the project. He has said, "This year marks a milestone for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it turns 10 and to add to the excitement, we are releasing 'Avengers: Infinity War' - the biggest superhero crossover one has ever seen. With Rana Daggubati coming on board as the voice of Thanos, we are confident of reaching out to a wider audience base while retaining the magnitude and staying true to the ethos of the Marvel brand."

Well, we can't wait to hear how Rana sounds as Thanos. We can be sure there will be that royal touch in the baritone.
