Is this a hint again? Are Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul dating? Well, we don't know about that but their latest Instagram picture will surely get tongues wagging once again. The two have been sparking romance rumours for quite some time now. Rahul took to his Instagram page today, to share a picture with his alleged lady love. They both are in a phone booth with the cricketer holding the receiver and the actress is busy laughing. A cute picture. But what makes it even cuter is the hilarious caption. Rahul wrote, "Hello, devi prasad....?" Athiya Shetty Reacts to her Dating Rumours with KL Rahul but Her Reply isn't the One We Wanted to Hear.

To jog up your memory, the dialogue is from the mega-popular comedy film, Hera Pheri. It featured Athiya's father superstar Suniel Shetty in the lead role. Suniel also loved the joke like us. In the comments section, he replied with teary-eyed laughing emoji. Athiya's brother Ahaan also left a similar comment on the picture.

Back in November, KL Rahul had shared a picture with Athiya on his Instagram stories to wish her on birthday. Athiya was asked after the picture upload, if the romance rumour bothered her. She replied, "Not at all. My poker face is on, so whatever questions that you are going to throw at me, you aren't going to get any reaction. But, I know it's your job as well to ask me such questions. I have always maintained that we give so much of ourselves daily and I feel this is something so personal and private – whether it's friendship, relationships or family. That is something I always want to protect. So, I am not gonna talk about it ever."

Athiya was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor, a romantic comedy with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress was praised by many critics for her performance in the film. Our in-house film critic, Sreeju Sudhakaran wrote, "Stuck in thankless roles in her first two films, Athiya gets to show here that, given good material, she can be a very capable performer with a good sense of comic timing." On the other hand, KL Rahul was last seen on Koffee with Karan, almost wrecking his image on Indian TV. There was intense damage control done after the appearance.
