The bilateral relations between India and Pakistan have weakened since Indian government scrapped Article 370 that gives special status of Jammu and Kashmir. After this announcement, Pakistan government banned Indian advertisements and launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies. Now, commenting on the same, veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle posted a sarcastic tweet, leaving the fans praising her. Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information, told Dawn news on Thursday, "We have banned Indian advertisements and launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies." Also, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) sent orders to ban the airing of advertisements for India-made products on television and radio networks. Also, the neighbouring country has suspended Samjhauta Express and bus service between India and Pakistan.
