The first teaser of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 was intriguing enough for the audience to flock when the trailer releases. The full-fledged trailer of the upcoming social thriller has been released by the makers. We totally think that the movie will be able to create a good hype around its release just with the trailer alone. Then, we are hoping makers have plans to promote this one. Andhadhun would have done so much better at the box office, if it was promoted. Article 15, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is based on some real events that unfolded in the city of Badaun in India.
As the title suggests, the movie is about Article 15 of the Constitution of India. It prohibits discrimination on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The plot revolves around Ayushmann, playing a police officer, who is investigating a case of rape and murder of two girls. In the process, he comes face to face with the deep-rooted casteism still prevalent in the country.
Ayushmanna appears in his most serious role to date. Even Andhadhun had shades of comedy. But this one is all substance, matter and loads of grit. We hope he fetches a few awards for this one. Ayushmann Khurrana Heads To Kanpur To Shoot For His Next Film With Yami Gautam And Here Are All The Deets.

Anubhav Sinha seems to have found his calling. He is too good at making social thrillers. His last film, Mulk, was a hit at the box office and was loved by the critics as well. Article 15 also seems to be on the same lines as Mulk speaking against discrimination. Article 15 also stars Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra in key roles.
