After the trailer release of this hard-hitting subject, the actor and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha started getting death threats from the Hindu fringe outfit Parshuram Sena and Karni Sena for trying to damage the reputation of the Brahmins. The filmmaker today has penned an open letter assuring that none of the communities in his movie is shown in a bad light. He made an honest appeal to everyone, asking them to not judge a book by its cover.
