Ayushmann Khurrana, who has been consistent in wooing the audience and critics alike, is currently the talk of the town courtesy his impactful performance in Anubhav Sinha's latest directorial venture Article 15. The crime drama, based on Article 15 of the Indian constitution, has been in theatres for a week now and has done commendable business at the Indian box office. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter a while back and announced the updated collection. He tweeted, "#Article15 has a healthy Week 1... Metros contribute to its biz... Faces a new opponent, #SpiderMan, besides #KabirSingh, which continues to rule BO... Fri 5.02 cr, Sat 7.25 cr, Sun 7.77 cr, Mon 3.97 cr, Tue 3.67 cr, Wed 3.48 cr, Thu 3.05 cr. Total: ₹ 34.21 cr. Further, Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "The weekday numbers of the film held up well which gives it a good chance of a 3-4 week run which could take the film towards the 60 crore nett mark.
