Arjun Patiala Box Office Collection Day 1: Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon Starrer Fails to Get Cash Registers Ringing

This Friday, two new Bollywood films arrived in cinema halls - Arjun Patiala and Judgementall Hai Kya. The former, which stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon in the lead along with Varun Sharma, failed to impress the critics and then took a poor opening at the Indian box office. The movie witnessed around 5 to 10 % occupancy during the morning shows and ended up raking in merely Rs 1.25 crore on the first day as per Boxofficeindia.com. Talking about the film's performance, trade portal Boxofficeindia.com has further reported, "Arjun Patiala is a spoof film and these films never really do well in India and Arjun Patiala had a very poor turnout with collections of 1.25 crore nett. The Diljit Dosanjh factor has not helped in North as spoof films have totally no market there whereas in Mumbai or Bangalore they may have some chance. While Diljit and Kriti starrer may not be in theatres after week 1, Judgementall Hai Kya, on the other hand, has bright chances of doing good business at the domestic box office.
