Recently Janhvi Kapoor's father, Boney Kapoor was asked about his daughter's love life and whether there's any truth in the rumours about her relationship with her Dhadak co-star. Speaking about Janhvi and Ishaan's relationship, he said, "Yes, Ishaan and Janhvi have done a movie together and they must have become friends. I respect my daughter and her friendship with Ishaan."

Several reports also suggested that Ishaan has become very close to the Kapoor family. We hear, Janhvi's sister Anshula Kapoor can't stop teasing the two. On the work front, it seems Janhvi and Ishaan may be coming together again. Karan Johar is all set to produce Vijay Deverakonda's latest release, Dear Comrade in Hindi and it seems Ishaan and Janhvi may be roped in for the intense romantic drama. Although, producer Karan Johar did clarify later that no actors have yet been approached for the project. In the meantime, Janhvi will be next seen in the Gunjan Saxena biopic, Kargil Girl. She has also been roped in for Dostana 2 along with Kartik Aaryan.
