Arbaaz Khan Accused of Placing Huge Bets in IPL; Summoned by Police for Questioning

Arbaz Khan has got in major trouble as he got summoned by police for a major Indian Premiere League (IPL) betting scam. The 42-year-old was held for being active in a betting ring led by bookie, Sonu Jalan alias Sonu Batla in the country as well as abroad. He was called by the Thane police on Friday in this high profile case. Sonu is known to be in the connection with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

Jalan was visiting an accused in the same case in Kalyan court. Here was to get the information on investigation on the IPL team. However, when the police came to know about this, Sonu was arrested by the police from the same court itself. The police also then alerted the other cops, laid a trap and and came to know that Sonu was in contact with Arbaaz Khan too. Stay tuned to know the further developments.
