It was on this day, last year when Virushka's happy pictures from Tuscany, Italy broke the internet and made our hearts flutter with joy. Anushka looked the happiest on her D-day and we can still remember her big broad smile that couldn't be even. A Sabyasachi Mukherjee bride, Ms Sharma's lehenga was soon the talk of the town. Their union was unexpected and we're glad for their beautiful love story had a happy ending in the end. We still remember the time we were glued to our computer screens, sitting ideal and not paying any heed to any other stories with a hope that the big announcement is on its way. And it was! Virat and Anushka took to their respective social media accounts to share a picture(s) from this most special day and time literally froze for the next few seconds. Was it real? Did Virushka just tie the knot? So it was not a family holiday but a wedding instead? So many questions flooded our curious minds and the answers were fortunately affirmative. Their first pictures were apparently very close to breaking the record of the most liked picture on Instagram. The fact that a wedding album can be a matter of discussion raised eyebrows and for all the good reasons of course. While the common man is adamant to dismiss this side of journalism and wonder if media has nothing good left to cover, we see it as a welcoming change. In the end, as they say, nothing is permanent but the change.
