Not Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli but Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol-Rani Mukerji to Be Karan Johar's First Guests on Koffee with Karan 6

For the longest time now there have been speculations about who will grace the couch on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan season 6. While it was almost confirmed that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will sip the Koffee with Karan, the duo has now backed out. The reason being their chock-o-block schedules. While Karan was way too excited to host Virushka on the show, dates posed a problem, given the hectic schedule of the sports star. And hence, they had to drop the idea.

So now, the production house is considering to get Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji - the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio on Koffee With Karan 6. A source close to mid-day revealed, "The team is now considering bringing together the lead cast of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film that released on October 16 in 1998 completes two decades this year. The timing is perfect. This plan is pending approval from all parties, but the idea is enticing for everyone, especially Karan."

Another source close to the filmmaker was quoted saying, "One may argue that the combination lacks novelty, but it scores on nostalgic value. The line-up is yet to be drawn. It's still in the brainstorming stage. A lot of names are being tossed around and it's too early to say."
