Anurag Kashyap Slams Rangoli Chandel’s ‘Desperate’ Rant After She Calls Taapsee Pannu a ‘Sasti Copy’ of Kangana Ranaut

The trailer of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgemental Hai Kya released on July 2. Be it celebs, critics or fans, the trailer received a thumbs up from everyone and so the performances of the lead actors were praised. Some of the B-town stars also shared tweets appreciating the different concept. But there were two celebs who became target of Rangoli Chandel – Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu, and that was because they didn’t mention Kangana’s name in their tweets. Not just that, she also called Taapsee a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana and that has not gone down well with director Anurag Kashyap. The filmmaker has slammed Rangoli’s ‘desperate’ rant on Twitter. Rangoli Chandel tweeted, “Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy.” To this Anurag Kashyap responded, “Come on Rangoli.. this is going too far.. this is really really desperate.. I really don’t know what to say to this . Having worked with both your sister and Taapsee .. I just don’t get this ..praising the trailer means praising all aspect of it. Post this, Rangoli Chandel (as usual) came up with a series of tweets to defend herself. And it was obvious, that she was going to make a fuss out of the tweet that Anurag posted. This was something that has been observed even in the past. And it isn’t the first time that Rangoli has tried to take a dig at celebs.
